This blue throated hummingbird pose makes me think of the old cloak and dagger pose, or perhaps a humming vampire as played by Vincent Price. Anyway, this is one of my all-time favorite poses. Taken at Cave Creek, near Portal, Arizona.

I'm a photographer, though sometimes I experiment in other media. My mother was an artist, and on school holidays, when she had classes at the art museum, I got to spend entire days roaming the galleries of the Cincinnati Art Museum. My twin sister is an artist, and my father took up photography about the time I did, when I was in college.
