Thank you very much, both of you. This shot has good distinct eyelashes (orbital feathers), cute talons, a very perky tail, an graceful wings, and even a little bit of tongue. I wish it had more iridescence, and more depth of field so you could see more wing detail. Overall, I like it a lot, or I wouldn't have posted it out of the many thousands of shots that I have. Oh, I also like the dark spots, which are likely the feathers missing from territorial battles. So that's my own critique of the good and bad of this photo. It's a keeper.
