Description
This very large panoramic photo was taken at Padre Crowley Point, in Death Valley National Park, overlooking the Panamint valley, just west of Death Valley itself. I particularly like the clear view of the road for many miles, and the stormy sky. There was rain in Death Valley the night before. One interesting thing is that I was standing here, and suddenly a pair of jets swooped UP out of the valley at high speed. I suppose it's a location used by Air Force pilots practicing terrain following techniques. I was so startled that my knees buckled! I didn't hear them coming until about a second before I saw them. Unfortunately, I missed the shot. Fortunately, I didn't drop the camera. To fully appreciate the detail in this photo, a very large print would be most appropriate.

This is a beautiful panoramic shot. I think you have outdone yourself. =)
Gregory Scott replied:
Dang. Now I have to outdo myself again! This could be repetitively recursive, or recursively repetitive.

Thanks for your comment. This is a favorite location of mine. I've been there 3 or 4 times, and I live in Georgia!
