Artist's Description

Starting with a photograph of sandstone take in Lower Antelope Canyon. I built this registered trademark symbol in photoshop as a high resolution digital image. It's kaleidoscopic in nature, and meant to be a counterpoint to another image I made with the copyright symbol. I'm not sure I'm entirely happy with these colors, and I could adjust them to customize them to your desire. This red/blue/yellow scheme is easily changed, but I like the main texture of the central medallion colored as as it is, personally, because of the Navajo Sandstone from which the image was derived. But that's a rather arbitrary reason to keep it that color.

Why the subject of this painting? Because as a photographer and artist and a former programmer and database analyst, protection of intellectual property is an issue near and dear to my heart! My mother was an artist, and on school holidays, when she had classes at the art museum, I got to spend entire days roaming the galleries of the Cincinnati Art Museum. My twin sister is an artist, and my father took up photography about the time I did, when I was in college.
