Description
These gals were quite watchful and obviously concerned when I stopped to shoot a group portrait. Though they have long horns, these cattle were in California near the town of Mariposa, on CA 140, the highway to Yosemite National Park. I was taken with the beautiful oaks, the ancient boulders, and how the similarity in texture and color between animals and rocks.
