Description
I found a historic old stone farm house on US 40, the old national road, or national pike, east of Grantsville, Maryland. This barn, with the name sign "Little Meadows" is directly across the highway. I don't know if it was built much later, or at the same approximate time as the house. I suspect it's more recent, but I have no real evidence.
The house is known as Tomlinson's Stone House Inn, Historic National Road, 12749 Alt US Route 40, Grantsville, MD, built 1818
