Description
Fiber netting was used in colonial days to protect the chicken coop, presumably because metal wire would have been much too expensive for this purpose. This is from one of the back yards in Colonial Williamsburg, VA.
I was quite taken with the curved geometry of the mesh and the way it was draped over the chicken coop.
