Description
This is the actual magenta color of the beautyberry tree or bush or shrub, a native plant in the Southeastern USA. Birds like to eat its well ripened berries. The flowers are very similar in color, and very tiny, blooming in early July. The berries ripen in September, and cardinals and other birds enjoy them. The flowers naturally grow in clusters like the berries do.
