Description
I'm not sure it is a female. I suppose it might be an immature, instead. I liked the classic "spread-eagle" pose on this one. Not that the talons are scary!

A most resplendent capture of this in flight and beautiful hummer, Gregory! Love the perfection in this shot, and the detail and coloration are superbly done. Got my big, F/V on this beauty!

Thanks, y'all. It's a great pose. This is why I love to keep shooting the same subjects, year after year. It's all about the bird, and the poses they do, and the aerodynamics of avian flight.
